Be careful what you wish for! We’ve been hoping for more snow, and boy did Mother Nature deliver! With 15 inches of new snow in one week, your volunteer groomers have been pulling out all the stops to make sure the trails are ready for the weekend.
Warm weather over the next couple of days could make for some sticky trails for skiers in the afternoons, but mornings should be great. Sunday conditions are looking good, with more snow coming in later in the day.
South Park
Wind and warm weather were not our friends this week at South Park. We’re hoping the colder temps and new snow forecast for Sunday will help us out next week!
Cutler Hill Nordic Trails
Trails have been dragged and rolled. We’re still hunting for the sweet spot in terms of exact route of some of the new trails in order to manage drifting. These new trails access some amazing views, so check them out!
Sibley Lake Nordic Trails
All trails have been rolled, and with the exception of Tie Hack, tracks have been set on all trails. Plenty of wood at the warming hut for your midday break.
