Nordic Skiing in Wyoming’s Bighorn Mountains
Black Mountain Nordic (BMN) was formed in November, 2001 and operates as a 501(c)3 to promote the sport of nordic skiing and non-motorized winter recreation in the greater Sheridan area. We help ensure trail access, provide groomed trails, and community events throughout the ski season.
The Sibley Lake (no dogs allowed) and Cutler Hill (dogs welcome) nordic trails are the premiere ski locations for the Sheridan area. Black Mountain Nordic works in collaboration with the Bighorn National Forest to operate on these trails.
