Greetings,

Tom, Jim and I groomed Sibley and Cutler tonight.  Cutler is done and in good shape but the Sibley Trails has had a lot of drifting and still need some more work.  There has been a peak gust of wind recorded at Burgess of 104mph in the last two days and there has been very strong winds for several days now.  There has been extensive drifting on all the Sibley trails except Prune Creek, I can’t remember seeing drifts  that we saw tonight.   It was a nice evening at Sibley with the temperature in the upper 20’s and little wind.  We made several passes around Dead Horse with the Blade to flatten the drifts and did a bunch of shoveling above the lake as the trail was over half drifted across.  We didn’t set any tracks as we will be going up again Friday night to finish up.   Weather for the weekend looks good with a chance of snow.

 Happy trails,

Curt
