This week was a bit tough for grooming due to high winds, which unfortunately are projected to persist through Saturday. While we haven’t gotten a big dump of snow recently, we’re still getting 2-3 inches here and there and temps are staying low enough to preserve the base.
❄Sibley Lake – Your volunteer groomers rolled and set tracks where appropriate on all trails. Trails are in great shape!
❄Cutler Hill – The wind was kicking up a fuss at Cutler this week, making grooming tough, but trails were in decent shape with some icing and drifting on top. Skate skiers are having a ball with the wide trails.
South Park – You guessed it – still no snow. 🙁
We hope you’ll plan to join us for next Saturday’s Moonlight Ski at the Sibley Lake Nordic Trails! We could use some volunteers to help set up, tend the fire, and tear down after the event – please let us know if you would like to help!
