Greetings,

Tim from Camp Bethel reported at 10:00 am today they have 15” of new snow.  The low tonight is supposed to be around -15F but warming to +16 tomorrow.  I am banking on the temps on the mountain to moderate in the early morning as we are going up about 7:00 and knock down the fluff.  We will probably have to pre-run the trails with the machines before we can pull the rollers but will do our best to salvage one good day out of the weekend for skiing.

It is the first of March and the end of the grooming season is nearing and from here we will take it one week at a time.  Once it warms up, without new snow it becomes difficult to do much with the trails.  That hasn’t been a problem lately, but you know it has to turn nice someday.

We have had our best season yet on dues and donations so a big Thank You to all of you that have supported our goal to have groomed ski trails.  Our goal is to steadily improve the quality of our trails, looking back over the last 13 years that the club has been maintaining the trials, I think it has shown.  If you are not a member please support the Sibley and Cutler Trails!

Happy trails,

Curt
