Greetings,

Tom, Steve and I got both Sibley and Cutler buffed into shape after what looked like 6-8” of new snow.  We groomed everything except Cat Walk and the Blue Creek Loop, just the meadow.  The trails are really nice and skiing in the morning, early, will be the best.  Sunday there is a major storm predicted so in the morning might be good if you don’t get caught in a blizzard.  It looks like the brunt of the storm is to get here mid-day.  I would check with the latest NOAA weather before venturing up, the link is on our website.

There were a couple of rouge snowmobilers on the trails Thursday sometime and tore up the Blue Creek area and rode into the hut and back out.   If anyone see’s snowmobiles on the trails please report to the Forest Service, If you can get a picture or a good description the better.

Tomorrow we are having a pruning day at Sibley, so if you are free and want to spend a spring day on the trails come on up.  We plan on meeting in the parking lot at 9:00.  I have 6 pole saws, 6 loppers and a couple bow saws.  Make sure to bring eye protection and work gloves.  Snowshoes might be the best if you have them but not mandatory.

Happy trails,

Curt
