Cutler and Sibley were groomed  today. This morning at 4:00am the Snotel at Burgess showed 11″ of new snow. When we got to Sibley there was 20″ of dry champagne powder! The snow would not pack very well but after pre-packing with the machines and rolling all the trails several times we have some soft packed powder trails. It would probably be too soft to skate but we set classic tracks on Prune Creek, Dead Horse, and the Tie Hack Cut off. My plan was today to pack the Blue Creek Loop but we ran out of time and energy. Skiing Sunday should be great as all the trees are flocked with snow.
