Your volunteer groomers are busting their butts this week to keep up with all this new snow! We had 8″ of new white fluff before the snow started up again today. The trails are soft as we continue to work to pack and stay ahead of the new snow. Conditions are great for skiing and snowshoeing, but fat bikes are likely to sink in and cause trail damage. We ask that fat bikes consider holding off until the trails settle and set up again.
❄ Sibley Lake Nordic Trails – Crews packed and rolled all trails except Tie Hack. Plans are to pack and roll again Saturday morning, in advance of the Moonlight Ski/Snowshoe at Sibley Lake Trails Saturday evening from 6-9PM.
❄ Cutler Hill Nordic Trails – Crews packed and rolled all trails and cleared several downed trees on Tuesday, and are headed up again Friday morning to make another pass.
❄ South Park – Finally enough snow to machine pack the trail around the park. Some grass is still showing and you may encounter some slushy spots around the loop. With these colder temps we’re hoping the trail will freeze and we can groom some corduroy for your skiing enjoyment.
