What a roller coaster ride of a season it has been! Just a week ago one of our volunteer groomers (we’ll refer to him here as “Doubty McDoubterson” to protect his identity) was declaring that winter was over. And then… we got 8 inches (up to 10 in some spots!) of fluffy new hope.
❄Sibley Lake – Your volunteer groomers packed, rolled and set tracks on all but Catwalk Friday afternoon. Conditions are great with 6-8″ throughout the area and as much as 10″ on upper Dead Horse. The trails are in great shape with plenty of soft snow – perfect for classic skiing. Skaters will do best on the campground loop, Prune Creek, and the Flume. Grab a picnic lunch and a pile of friends and ski in to the warming hut – there’s really no better way to spend the day!
❄Cutler Hill – All trails at Cutler were freshly groomed Thursday evening. Conditions are a bit soft due to the new snow but should firm up nicely as temperatures drop. Your pups will have a ball in all this fluffy white stuff!
????South Park – Maybe this next storm will bring enough snow? Maybe?
More snow in the forecast for the end of the weekend, so keep your gear at the ready!
