Well, after a long dry spell, we’re finally set to get some new snow! As we write this, the snow is finally coming down, and we’re expecting snow all day Saturday.
Even though we’ve not had much snow to groom, your volunteer groomers have been hard at work doing preliminary packing, stocking the warming hut with firewood, repairing bridges and trimming trees, and just generally getting everything ready so you can have a great season of skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking!
❄ Sibley Lake Nordic Trails – Prune Creek and Dead Horse trails have been rolled and packed. The snow is still thin in spots, so you may want to wait to bring your new Christmas skis! Hopefully tomorrow’s forecasted snow will help.
❄ Cutler Hill Nordic Trails – Snow is very thin in spots but the whole of Cutler has been packed! Jared Rawlings says bring your crappy (okay, not exactly the word he used) equipment and be careful! Some things will bite ya!
