Greetings,   Tom and I are going to be at Sibley Friday afternoon to skid the bridge timbers from Junction E (upper Cat Walk) to junction B (lower Tie Hack. These 3 timbers are huge and about 30' long so I hope it goes as planned. Once we get them in place and the snow [...]

Greetings,   I was going to groom the trail tonight but the 6" of snow that was forecasted turned out to be maybe one inch, so I think we will pass on grooming for now.  I am going up skiing in the morning so if conditions warrant I will drag the Ginzu around and reset the tracks.  The trails are [...]

We are planning on grooming Sibley tonight as the Snotel at Burgess is showing 4" of new snow.  There was a lot of wind on the mountain first part of the week so there may be some drifts (speed bumps) on the upper part of Dead Horse.  Hopefully we won't have to shovel out the trail [...]

The plan, at this time, is to groom Sibley and Cutler Friday night.  There has been 4-6" of new snow since we groomed last week so the trails should groom up good for this weekend.  There had been a lot of drifting on the trails from the warm windy spell we had two weeks ago.  We did shovel [...]

A fellow member reported on Wednesday there are a couple trees down at Sibley and a nice covering of pine needles on the trail.  There has been some drifting in the open areas and top of Dead Horse.  It looks like the wind festival we have been enjoying for the last week may subside a wee [...]

We groomed all the Sibley and Cutler trails tonight including rolling the entire Blue Creek Loop.   The weather is going to be warm this weekend so Saturday morning would probable be the best skiing. There will be some melting in the areas that get strong sun during the day and also some icy conditions [...]

Dead Horse, Prune Creek, The Flume and Tiehack at  Sibley were groomed last night. There was only 2-3" of new snow but there is 20" predicted from now thru Monday night if the weather man guesses right. Skiing this weekend will probably include some wind and possibly a lot of new snow.   The chili [...]

All trails groomed on Friday.  About 8" of fresh snow. Just a reminder of the chili feed tomorrow at the warming hut at Sibley, from 11-2.  The weather looks to be good.  Please remember that parking is limited.  The highway department plowed the parking lot this week as big as they can get it.  When [...]

Tom, Steve and Clint went up to groom the trails this morning and were surprised with a bit more snow than we thought was there. Tom reported 10-12+ inches and grooming didn't go very smoothly. They got stuck numerous times and didn't get everything done as planned. Tom and I will go back up early tomorrow [...]
