It’s the lucky groomer or skier who gets to see the elusive elves who live in the woods along the Sibley Lake Nordic Trails. Your volunteer groomers were very lucky indeed to encounter a baby wood elf at the warming hut!If you watch very, very carefully, perhaps you’ll see one, too! The trails are continuing to improve with 3-4 inches of snow this week.
Sibley Lake Nordic Trails – Trails are in great shape with only a few thin spots remaining on lower Prune Creek and upper Dead Horse. All trails were groomed Thursday afternoon except lower Blue Creek; tracks were set on all but Blue Creek Meadow, Campground loop, and Catwalk. We’re hoping to touch up again this weekend. Cutler Hill Nordic Trails – All trails were rolled today (Friday).See you on the trails!
