Greetings,  Tom, Jim and I groomed Sibley and Cutler tonight.  Cutler is done and in good shape but the Sibley Trails has had a lot of drifting and still need some more work.  There has been a peak gust of wind recorded at Burgess of 104mph in the last two days and there has [...]

Matt, Steve and Brian are headed up Friday morning to groom Cutler and Sibley.  There has been about 6” of new snow this week at the Burgess Snotel so it should make for great skiing conditions over the hard pack trails we had last weekend.  Weather for the mountain looks good for the weekend, with [...]

Greetings,  Tom, Clint and I headed up the mountain early this morning thinking it would be an easy day of grooming.  The Snotel at Burgess at 4:00AM  showed 3” of new snow, piece of cake right?  When we stopped at Cutler and got stuck in the berm the plows left we discovered about 12” of [...]

Season’s Greetings, We groomed Cutler and Sibley tonight and there was 6-10” of new snow on the trails.  Four of us went up and the plan was to get everything done including Blue Creek.  We had some trouble pulling the heavier groomers in the new snow so we had to use the machine intended to [...]

I had to go up to the trails tonight and do some repairs on one of the snowmobiles and while I was there I went around Prune Creek and Dead Horse twice with the blade.  There is about 8-10” of new snow and the blade really smoothed a lot of the bumps and I [...]
